Turn off bright lights; use lamps or candles to help your body sense it's time to rest.

Step away from devices an hour before bed — or dim the brightness and switch on Night Mode.

3) Breathe 4-7-8

Inhale 4, hold 7, exhale 8. Do this four times as your cacao cools.

Loosen shoulders, back, and neck for two minutes to release tension.

Ingredients:

  • 20g of 72% or 87.5% 80Noir Ultra dark chocolate
  • 160 ml hot milk (any milk of choice)
  • 1 tap of our Chai Spice Blend to soothe.

Method: Find your favourite mug. Heat milk until steaming. Once boiling, take off the hob and add the chocolate and whisk until silky and smooth. Stir in chai spice and breathe deep while it melts away the day.

Kids gentle bedtime cup

Kids Version

Ingredients:

  • 17g of 61% or 72% Happy Cocoa Club dark chocolate
  • 160 ml hot milk (any milk of choice)
  • 1 tap of our Chai Spice Blend or some cinnamon and ginger to soothe

Method: Get help and with an adult, heat milk until steaming. Once boiling, take off the hob and add the chocolate and whisk until silky and smooth. Stir in the spice and breathe deep while it melts away the day. Take to your favourite chair and cover with a blanket or snuggle with your favourite person and let it start the journey of sending you to sleep.
